Recycling Service

Shoreline garbage service comes with free recycling service! Your 96 gallon recycling cart will be emptied every other week on your service day. If you recycle more material, you may be able to reduce the size of your garbage container, save money and conserve resources. Login to your account to view your collection week.

Materials Collected

Materials to put in your recycling cart. 
If you have more materials than will fit, put them in a cardboard box (3' x 3' x 3' or smaller) next to your cart.

Special Item Recycling

Fluorescent Tubes & Bulbs

   Wrap in several layers of newspaper, secure with tape.
   Put bulbs in plastic bag tied closed (or zip-lock bag).
  Set on top of recycle cart (not inside).
  Tubes must be less than 4 feet long.
   Limit 2 tubes/bulbs per collection and 10 per year.

Motor Oil
  Put in leak free one-gallon milk jug with screw-top lid.
  Must be labeled with name and address.
  Limit 2 gallons per collection.

Recycle Small Appliances
  2’x 2’x 2’ or smaller and less than 35 lbs.
  Place on top of blue recycle cart.
