Cart Placement
All carts and bags should be placed at the curb by 7 a.m. Please place your cart near the curb with the white serial numbers facing the street. The cart handle, lid hinge and wheels face away from the street.

Collection Time
Residential collections start at 7 a.m. Please have all of your materials available for collection at that time. Collection times may vary.
Collection Day
Login to your account to view your collection calendar and determine your collection day.
Holiday Schedule
Garbage, yard debris and recyclables are collected on all holidays except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day. On these holidays, collection is one day later that week (including Saturdays) for all customers whose collection day falls on the holiday or later in that week.
Vacation Hold
To temporarily stop service, call our office at (206) 763-4444. You will not be billed for canceled collections if the request is made at least one week prior to the affected collection day.
Weather Delays
If extreme weather conditions make it too difficult for garbage and recycling trucks to provide safe collection at your curb, CleanScapes will try to collect materials on the first day that regular service to you resumes (usually the next week). At that time CleanScapes will pick-up -at no extra charge all accumulated volumes of materials equal to what would have been collected on the missed collection day(s).
