Fluorescent Tubes & Bulbs

CleanScapes provides free curbside collection of fluorescent tubes and bulbs (CFLs) for Shoreline residential customers. Fluorescent lights contain small amounts of hazardous substances and therefore are not accepted in curbside carts. To recycle fluorescent bulbs or tubes please follow the instructions below.

Fluorescent Tubes and Bulbs
•  Wrap tubes in several layers of newspaper, secure with tape.
•  Put bulbs in plastic bag tied closed (or zip-lock bag).
•  Set on top of recycle cart (not inside).
•  Tubes must be 4 feet long or less.
•  Limit 2 tubes/bulbs per collection and 10 per year.
