Accepting ideas for CleanScapes’ $10,000 Community Improvement Project

CleanScapes' annual waste reduction competition challenges residents to reduce waste including garbage, recycling, food scraps and yard debris.
On Sunday, April 21st, at the Earth Day Every Day Event at Shoreline's Central Market CleanScapes announced the neighborhood that won this year's $10,000 prize.
Shoreline's Friday neighborhood collection area won the 2010 Neighborhood Waste Reduction Rewards competition and as their $10,000 reward, representives from the neighboorhood associations choose to install five new benches along the Interurban Trail.
Many bright, talented, Shoreline students submitted artwork for CleanScapes Elementary Student Art Competition.
