To estimate the garbage container size most appropriate for your household, see below:
1 to 2 people: 10-gallon micro can or 20-gallon mini cart
3 to 4 people: 32-gallon cart
5 to 8 people: 64-gallon cart
9 to 12 people: 96-gallon cart
