The 16th annual America Recycles Day is November 15th. The day, which is a nationwide event sponsored by many organizations including the EPA, has inspired thousands of individuals to take the recycling pledge. This year’s event is themed “I want to be Recycled,” and focuses on the importance of recycling through community education. The event aims to motivate Americans to become active participants of recycling. Take the recycling pledge today for yourself or your business!

In 2012 the America Recycles Day event had 2.1 million participants and about 2,065 registered events nationwide.
According to the EPA, every year about 9,000,000 trees get cut down and sent to paper and pulp mills to create products.
