Shoreline, WA – In collaboration with Shoreline Lake Forest Park Arts Council, the City of Shoreline Public Art Program hosted the largest open house of the year on Thursday, October 29 from 5:30pm – 7:00pm. More than 30 artists attended the event to accompany five exhibitions of media ranging from collage, to painting, photography and ceramics.
Recology CleanScapes inaugural Artist in Residence program was highlighted at this event, showcasing a portion of the full collection created by artists Karien Balluff and Sarah Ruether. The artwork will be on display on the third floor of Shoreline City Hall until January 25, 2016. Thank you for helping us celebrate the fantastic pieces created from recyclable materials scavenged from Recology Cleanscapes’ material recovery facility.
