SEATTLE, WA – December 12, 2012 – CleanScapes was recognized for their pioneering fleet management efforts with the first ever 5-star rating from Evergreen Fleets. CleanScapes received this distinction at a ceremony last night held by Western Washington Clean Cities.
CleanScapes became the first fleet to achieve a 5‐starrating by demonstrating superior best practices in “green” fleet management, increasing its use of alternative fuels such as compressed natural gas and biodiesel, and thereby reducing the greenhouse gas emissions of their fleet.
“CleanScapes is honored to achieve the first ever five-star rating for our ground-breaking efforts to create a greener, more sustainable fleet,” said Chris Martin, CleanScapes’ founder and president. “We are pleased to be able partner with communities who make this possible by sharing our commitment to reducing emissions through innovations in our fleet.”
