Kids Toy Swap at the Recology Store in Highline


Opportunity to donate toys to other children in the community

Burien, WA – Today through June 26th families can donate toys at The Recology Store, Highline. On Saturday June 27th a toy swap will be held from 10am-6pm at the store. The store is located at 15858 1st Ave S, Suite A100, Burien, WA 98148. Store hours are Mon-Sat 10am-6pm and Sunday Noon-5pm.

Kids Bike Rodeo to be held at Pickering Barn


Issaquah, WA – On Sunday, May 17 Recology CleanScapes, in partnership with the City of Issaquah will host a Kids Bike Rodeo at Pickering Barn in Issaquah. 

The event, held during National Bike to Work Month, provides children with an opportunity to learn about bike safety, riding skills and proper helmet fitting. The City of Issaquah Police Department is providing a limited number of youth bike helmets and staff from Bike Works will be on hand to fit helmets for kids.

Plastic Bag Whale Migrates to Shoreline


A 32 foot long whale constructed from 9,000 plastic bags has migrated to Shoreline Community College. The whale is being presented in support of SCC's Earth Week programming themed, "The Ethis of Place."
