Residential customers whose last yard waste collection was missed due to winter weather may set out all correctly prepared yard debris generated by the recent storm on their next two regularly scheduled collection days. It will be collected at no additional charge.
Extra yard debris should be placed in large paper bags or garbage cans labeled “Yard Debris”. Bundles of branches should be no bigger than 2 feet by 2 feet by 4 feet (2’x2’x4’) and should be tied together with compostable string or twine. Branches or tree trunks larger than 4 inches in diameter or 4 feet in length cannot be collected.

SEATTLE, WA – (January 20, 2012) – CleanScapes provides garbage, yard/food waste and recycling service to residents and businesses in the Cities of Shoreline and Des Moines. As of January 20, 2012, service has been temporarily disrupted because of continued icy and snowy conditions, and all residential collection routes have been cancelled for today.

SEATTLE, WA – (January 19, 2012) – CleanScapes will implement a modified collection schedule on Friday and Saturday this week for Des Moines residential customers, weather permitting. Thursday customers who were not collected today should put out their garbage and recycling on Friday for collection. Friday customers should put out their garbage and recycling on Saturday for collection.
Residential collections in Des Moines have been suspended today due to snowy and icy conditions. CleanScapes will provide limited commercial and multi-family service today, confined to those areas that can be served safely. We will be monitoring weather conditions, and will resume full service as soon as we can safely do so.
