Recology Cleanscapes Temporarily Suspends Garbage/Recycling Service in All Cities
Customers are advised to visit RecologyCleanScapes.com for latest updates on the service disruption
SEATTLE, WA - Recology CleanScapes provides garbage, recycling and composting/food scraps collection service to residents and businesses of the Cities of Bothell, Burien, Des Moines, Issaquah, Maple Valley, SeaTac, Seattle and Shoreline. As of February 6, 2017 service has been temporarily suspended in these cities due to snow and poor road conditions. Recology CleanScapes will resume collection as soon as it is safe to do so.
Residents should place all carts (garbage, recycling, yard waste/composting/food scraps) in the usual collection location by 7:00am each day this week, including Saturday, until they are collected. Customers should consider their service delayed by one day, with Friday customers being collected on Saturday.
If weather prevents Recology CleanScapes from collecting your materials by that time, set your carts out for your next scheduled collection and double the amount of material will be collected at no extra cost. Current service updates are available on our website www.RecologyCleanScapes.com. Customers are encouraged to check this site for the most up to date information.
Recology Cleanscapes currently provides solid waste, recycling and compost collection service for several cities in the Puget Sound region. Recology Cleanscapes is a subsidiary of Recology, an employee-owned company that sees a world without waste, where resources are used and re-used in a sustainable ecosystem that strives for their best and highest use.

Seattle, WA– There is a saying that one person’s trash is another person’s treasure. In the case of two King County artists, this turn of phrase rings especially true. Thanks to a unique program offered by solid waste and recycling hauler, Recology CleanScapes, artists Dakota Gearhart and Alexander Keyes have been provided the opportunity to access materials at the company’s South Seattle recycling facility.
