SHORELINE, WA – (May 8, 2012) - From now until August 31st, Shoreline residents are invited to submit ideas for a community improvement project worth $10,000. Project ideas will be reviewed by a committee of neighborhood representatives, and the winning project will be installed and maintained by CleanScapes, in coordination with the City of Shoreline.
Last year, CleanScapes funded the installation of mile markers along the Interurban Trail, and various other community investments.
CleanScapes will award this year’s project to residents in the Thursday collection area for demonstrating the greatest reduction in waste from 2011 to 2012. This area includes all or part of the following neighborhoods: Hillwood, Innis Arden, Richmond Beach and Richmond Highlands.
