Today through September 25th families can donate kids books at the Recology Store in Issaquah. On Saturday September 26th a book swap will be held from 10am-6pm at the store. The store is located at 317 NW Gilman Blvd, Ste. 22. Store hours are Mon-Sat 10am-6pm and Sunday Noon-5pm.

Make Art, Not Landfill: Shoreline Artists Showcase their Recycled Art through Recology’s Artist in Residence Program

This summer, Recology CleanScapes started its Artist in Residence (AIR) program, selecting two Shoreline artists, Karien Balluff and Sarah Reuther as the first participants. The AIR program is a unique art and education program that provides King County artists with access to discarded materials, a stipend, and studio space at Recology’s Seattle MRF.
