Make-Up Collection Schedule for Week of 2/6 Due to Inclement Weather


Due to inclement weather and unsafe road conditions, Recology CleanScapes temporarily suspended service in the City of Shoreline on Monday, February 6.  To make up for missed collections, Recology will operate a one-day delay for the remainder of the week.  Monday customers will be collected on Tuesday; Tuesday customers will be collection on Wednesday; Wednesday customers on Thursday; Thursday customers on Friday; and Friday customers on Saturday.

Residents should place carts in their usual collection location by 7:00am each day this week, including Saturday, until they are collected.

Recology Cleanscapes Temporarily Suspends Garbage/Recycling Service in All Cities
Customers are advised to visit RecologyCleanScapes.com for latest updates on the service disruption

SEATTLE, WA - Recology CleanScapes provides garbage, recycling and composting/food scraps collection service to residents and businesses of the Cities of Bothell, Burien, Des Moines, Issaquah, Maple Valley, SeaTac, Seattle and Shoreline.  As of February 6, 2017 service has been temporarily suspended in these cities due to snow and poor road conditions.  Recology CleanScapes will resume collection as soon as it is safe to do so. 
 

Residents should place all carts (garbage, recycling, yard waste/composting/food scraps) in the usual collection location by 7:00am each day this week, including Saturday, until they are collected. Customers should consider their service delayed by one day, with Friday customers being collected on Saturday.

If weather prevents Recology CleanScapes from collecting your materials by that time, set your carts out for your next scheduled collection and double the amount of material will be collected at no extra cost.  Current service updates are available on our website www.RecologyCleanScapes.com.  Customers are encouraged to check this site for the most up to date information.

Thanks to a unique program offered by solid waste and recycling hauler, Recology CleanScapes, artists Dakota Gearhart and Alexander Keyes have been provided the opportunity to access materials at the company’s South Seattle recycling facility.
