Household (Miscellaneous) Plastics

Effective November 1, 2011 new types of household plastics will be accepted in your curbside recycling cart!

Recyclable items include:

• Polycarbonate water bottles, such as Nalgene

• Plastic 5-gallon buckets

• Clean plant pots

• CD cases – paper booklet must be removed

• Plastic laundry baskets

• Plastic furniture

• PVC pipe – no longer than the length of your recycling cart

These items must fit in your recycling cart or in a 3’x3’x3’ cardboard box and weigh less than 60 lbs.
