Prohibited Items

The items listed below are not allowed in the garbage as they are not accepted at the in the King County landfill system. 

• Computers,  TVs, monitors, laptops

• Concrete, rocks and dirt

• Oil-based paint, varnish, paint thinner, solvents

• Insecticides, herbicides, household cleaners

• Vehicle batteries and household batteries (alkaline, button, rechargeable) 

• Motor oil, and other vehicle fluids
